Someone is trying to make a new family for my father in law Leroy Walter Janes. His id number is kwc6-8z9. To Gloria Gail Gunderson Boutilier Janes id number GZ61-J8P. This person has Gloria as deceased..

But I know that this is not true. Leroy was married to Gloria Gail Gunderson. Which is still alive. Leroy & Gloria were sealed in the L.A temple. Leroy has had all his temple work done.

This person also added 3 children that are deceased Dennis,Evan& Raymond. They are all living.

How do i fix this

The best thing to do is go to the 4 records that have been created and edit the death information from dead to living and explain how you know the individuals are in fact living.

Here is the link to the help Article: https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-change-the-status-from-deceased-to-living-in-family-tree

Usually when this happens someone was getting the information from an obituary and fails to remember that obituaries are mostly about living people.

We appreciate your bringing this to our attention.
