I need to know how to get her baptism and confirmation information into family search so we can do her other ordinances for her.

    Carol

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Members of the Church ... ]

My condolences, I am sorry to 'hear' about the passing of you Daughter.

    As an aside ...

    Just for future reference ...

The best place to post matters, such as this, pertaining to "Temple" Work, is under the 'Help Centre Category' of "Temple", in this "Q and A" Section.

Here is a direct link to that particular 'Category':

    "Q and A" Section

    'Category' = "Temple"

Home > English > Help Center Categories > Temple

    Temple

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple-support

    Now ...

    That Said ...

HOPEFULLY, one of the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ] HERE in this Forum, will find your post HERE, in this 'Category'; and, either,

    (1) "Move" you post to that 'Category' of "Temple"

.... [ So that, this matter, can be TAKEN, into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support" ]; or,

    (2) TAKE ON, the matter, DIRECTLY, into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", from HERE,

    to help/assist you.

I know that this does not help; but, I hope is helps if you need help/assistance with "Temple" Work in the future.

    Brett

ps: I would ,"Move" this post of yours, if I could; but, I do not have, that ability, like some of us used to.

In order for her ordinance information to appear in Family Tree, the ward clerk where her membership record is needs to add her death information to her membership record. If you do not know what that ward is, your ward clerk may be able to request her record and then add that information. So talk to your ward clerk about getting this done.

If for some reason your ward clerk cannot help you with this, I have had success contacting Support, as you have here, and supplying an uncle's full birth information, full parent information, and documentation of death with an obituary and Support was able to find his membership record and add the death information. They should be able to do the same for your daughter. I hope you have a direct message from someone in Support soon in regards to this. You will not want to post all the needed information on a public board like this. If they do not contact you, you might try calling them.

If a clerk adds the information, that will make a membership record derived Family Tree record for her appear in Family Tree that you will then need to merge with any records for her you have created. This record for her should appear as a duplicate child under you. Sometimes if Support adds the information, they also go ahead and take care of the merge.

You should do some searching in Family Tree to make sure there is not already a duplicate for her that does have her ordinance information but which for some reason did not connect properly with your Family Tree record when it was created from her membership record.
