Need Help adding ancestors
I see where my mother Wilma Carlene McCarty, her grandfather William Ley, his family history stops with him. Thru much research I was able to complete some of his family history. I found that his Fathers name was Joseph Ley and his mother's name was Sarah Freeman Lay.
I also found that Williams wife is listed as Frances Bickford Ley, While Florence is her middle name, Cicillia is her first name and it is not listed
If someone can help me or tell me how I might add to my Tree I would appreciate it.
I am still researching for the parents of the rest of my great great grandparents from Joseph Ley on.

First thing you can do is merge her duplicate PID L5JF-84N.
Next, her grandfather William Lay has a bunch of hints waiting. Before you jump in and work those, first standardize the dates and place names on his profile. Probably some of those hints are bad. Polish up William Lay to get first rate hints.
William Lay has one source attached, his daughter's marriage record. It says where she was born: that is a residence place with date for each of her parents.
