Need some tweaking of a translation of a 17th century German churchbook text
My cousin and I have nearly finished with this, but there are some problematic spots, and I suppose that many of you have expertise in the old German script. I have uploaded an image of the text. What we are not sure about is on the 5th line down from Johann Leschbor, what is after "Gottesdienst in"? Also on the 8th line down from Johann Leschbor, what is after "biz die " that looks like" Xübhofe"? We understand the old pastor to write "My son can preach like the devil". This seems to be an unbelievably modern metaphor. Does anyone have any insights into what this could mean? Just above 18 Dec, there is what is probably a profession of some kind, that looks like "Jericho". Any ideas? We appreciate anyone's help on this.

Here is what we have done (see transcription followed by translation):

ein Sohn Peter L., Past. in Nochten.
[Vater?] nacher Pfare in Petershain.
Vocat. 1671. Wie [er?] von der Universität
zurü[c]k kam und das erstmal predigte, so
stellte der Vater den Gottesdienst in **
Kirche ein, um ihn zu hören, u. antwortete
den Bauers, die ihn biz die Xübhofe fragten
wie es gegangen, dieses: mein Sohn kan
predigan, wie der Teufel.
Uxor: Anna Maria, +. 1693 24 Jul.
als Wirthin bym Pfare zu daubitz
an einem kläglichen Fall.
Sohn: Johann Heinrich, *** in Jittau
Er starb 1677 18 Dec.
TRANSLATION
10. Johann Leschbor,
A son [of] Peter L., Past[or] in Nochten.
Father later pastor in Petershain.
[Latin related to calling; probably means called to the ministry]. 1671.
When he came back from the University
and first preached, the father ceased the service in [?] church
in order to hear him, and answered
the farmers, which [***] asked how it had gone,
saying this: my son can preach
[like?] the devil.
[Latin for “wife”] Anna Maria, [died] 1693, 24 Jul.
as landlady for the pastor in Daubitz
in a lamentable case.
Son: Johann Heinrich, [some profession?] in [probably Zittau, south of Daubitz].
He died 1677 18 Dec.
