First off, duplicate places

Example: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/results?count=20&placeId=888066&query=%2Bplace%3A%22Russia%2C%20St.%20Petersburg%2C%20I%EF%B8%A0A%EF%B8%A1mburg%22

It's just quite confusing. Alternate names could be mentioned in brackets, but this is kinda unnecessary.

Apart from that, I think Familysearch should get rid of phonetical symbols and just write the actual spelling of the place like people are supposed to? (Maybe with a Latin form in brackets)

Regards, the only Russian FamilySearch user.

@Dominik Krämer Unfortunately, the catalog is currently locked. As per this help center article:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-request-a-correction-to-the-familysearch-catalog

Hopefully this will mean that a lot of the errors we are currently finding in it will go away when engineers finish their work.
