Why can't I print name cards from multiple pages?
We needed to print 3 names, but they were on three separate pages and when we went to the next page the check disappeared on the previous page forcing us to use 3 sheets of paper instead of one. Can you please adjust the programing so that the indicated information carries from one page to the ofther?

Hi Anitta,
That is the way it works. You could try to get the three cards on the same page by playing with the filters, but if you have a lot of names in your temple list, it might not help.
We are moving your post to the Ideas are of Communities. This is where suggestions for ways to improve the website would go.
Thank you for your feedback.

Hello @MuhlesteinAnittaFaye1.
Yours is a common complaint about how the system is working at the present time when printing family name cards.
It might be possible for you to filter your list so that the particular 3 names you want to print appear on the same page.
For instance, you could select Not Printed and from there select other filter options -- such as Filter by Ordinance. You could then sort by first or last name, ID number, Date of Birth, Sex, Date Reserved, or Date Expires.
The next time you want to print family name cards, try some of the filtering options.
In the meantime, you could post your concern in Ideas and/or see if your suggestion has already been offered.
Best wishes!

Good ideas about filtering that I haven't tried. Might I suggest to Salt Lake that it would be great if we were able to print from our Completed Ordinance List the family name card(s).

It extremely frustrating that it isn't possible to print up different names from multiple pages. Surely some technical savvy person can figure out a way to make it so we don't have to waste paper just to do this. Is this a programming bug would be fairly easily fixed. Please?
Also, now that names cards are not returned, it would be helpful to have the card print as many times as we will need them. The program states that the card has been printed however I still need to print it again in order to compete the rest of the ordinances.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
It was disappointing, to say the least, when the "Continuous" List of "Reservations", for "Temple" Work, was REPLACED, by the "Paging" (ie. "Pages").
The reason/inference; being, that the "Continuous" Lists, that for MANY Users/Patrons (who are Members of the Church), was Extremely LARGE (ie. "Thousands"), used far too much "System" Resources; thereby, "Slowing" the "System" down.
Hence, why 'FamilySearch' went, from "Continuous" Lists, to "Paging" (ie. "Pages") Lists.
Now ...
That Said ...
You are not alone ...
Unfortunately ...
What you desire is not a new request; and, had been requested COUNTLESS times, by COUNTLESS Users/Patrons (who are Members of the Church), that being, to enable the selecting (and, printing), of individuals/persons "Temple" Work across "Pages", in our List of "Reservations" for "Temple" Work.
As such ...
Due to the "Change", from "Continuous" Lists, to "Paging" (ie. "Pages") Lists ...
I DO NOT think, that 'FamilySearch', will accede to such a request/suggested enhancement, on the grounds that; and, as they have ADDED, "Filters", to the "Reservations" Lists; where, it is/has been implied/suggested, that we SHOULD be able to "Sort" the individuals/persons that we require, by using those "Filters". to get the result they we desire.
So ...
That Said ...
According to 'FamilySearch', it is SUPPOSEDLY, a very SIMPLE matter, of getting to know how to use, the "Filters", in the "Reservations" Lists, to achieve the desired result ...
I will just leave that with you; and, say no more ...
We can but live in hope ...
Just my thoughts.
I know that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope that this gives yo some, insight; and, perspective.
