The book, "An 1800 Census for Lincoln County, Georgia" is listed as available in Books & in the Catalog in Full Text. However, when I select the Full Text, only 5 pages are shown. Can I have access to the full book?

    FamilySearch Digital Library catalogue

    https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/records/item/59585-an-1800-census-for-lincoln-county-georgia?offset=1

I get the same result, only 5 pages are in the digital file

The Catalogue reference is https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/166435 and this clicks through to the Digital Library file.

Definitely an error which needs to be fixed up.

This topic perhaps would be more appropriate in Search where it could be escalated.

It appears that only the index is available. The book was published in 1977, so still under copyright.

Have you checked Worldcat.org for a copy in a nearby library? I see some 76 libraries hold a copy.

If it is MEANT to be only a few pages from the Index (not the whole Index) then this needs to be escalated to have both the Digital Library Catalog entry and the Catalog AMENDED to reflect actual details.

Currently on the Digital Library catalog page it says  View All Pages 145 pages . 5 pages is NOT 145 pages.

On the Catalog page it describes a book of 135 pages and says To view a digital version of this item click here. Clearly the implication is that the whole book is viewable, not just the title page and four pages of the Index.

I think it is much more likely there is a problem with the digital file. However, if it is not the file, it is UNETHICAL to have incorrect information in the catalogs.

As another indication that the problem is with the book file, if you Search for this title in the FS Digital Library the result which comes up shows that the Access Level for this book is PUBLIC. This confirms to me that the book file is the underlying problem.

    Hello,

I have found some problems in the Images Search for records that are mis-labeled. When I search for Howard County, Texas Death Records , 1904-1920, the document that comes up is actually for Howard County, Iowa. Actually, throughout the Images for Howard County, Texas, there are a number of occurrences where the actual document is for the State of Iowa.

Do you happen to know if Death Records for Howard County, Texas are available in Images for 1910-1915?

    Thanks!

    Julie Clark
