Easy to see your direct ancestors on your tree with the green symbol but there are multiple side shoots that are easy to miss

    Hello @garghandavid1,

One way to find available ordinances for others who are not in your direct line is to go back a few generations and click on the Descendancy view. I usually start with direct ancestors born in the late 1700s.

    1. In Family Tree on the FamilySearch website, find an ancestor and on their Person Page click View Tree to the right of the name at the top.
    2. In the top left of the screen, click the name of the current view (Landscape, for example), then Descendancy.
    3. Click the number of generations to display (I like to use 4).

Although the Descendancy View does not have a print option like the other pedigree views, you can still use your browser to print it. Simply press Ctrl+P. If you use Chrome, the chart prints in color with the icons. Firefox does not print icons.

    @garghandavid1

    David

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    Just some thoughts ...

Short Answer: 'No', no such "Report", that can be generated, by us Users/Patrons, in 'FamilySearch'.

    But ...

    That Said ...

    There are OTHER options ...

And, those options, are apart from using "OrdinancesReady" ...

And, these can be found in the "Solutions Gallery" of 'FamilySearch'

    https://partners.familysearch.org/solutionsgallery/s/

    https://partners.familysearch.org/solutionsgallery/s/

Here are just a few ideas ...

    [ 1 ] "Family Tree Management" Programmes

Although, I really DO NOT use them, as far as I am aware, some of the "Family Tree Management" Programmes, being "Third Party" Applications, that are "Certified" to work (and, INTERFACE) with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', may have such capabilities, as you desire.

And, here is the direct link to the "Family Tree Management programmes" themselves:

    https://partners.familysearch.org/solutionsgallery/s/list?category=family_tree_management

"Third Party" Applications that are "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' include, BOTH, 'On-Line' "Websites" (eg. "Ancestry_com"; or "MyHeritage_com"; or, the like); and/or, 'standalone' personal (computer) programmes ("Ancestral Quest"; or, the like).

Some of the "Third Party" Applications that are "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' have, BOTH, a Basic FREE version; and/or, a Premium PIAD (ie. "Subscription") version, the latter just having more 'Bells and Whistles'. The Basic FREE version is sufficient for most, the average, User/Patron. Whereas, the Premium PAID (ie. "Subscription") version is the choice of most experienced and 'power' Users/Patrons.

You can use ONE or MORE than one, of the the "Third Party" Applications, the choice is yours.

Most of the "Third Party" Applications that are "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' that are "Family Tree Management programmes, have INTERFACES that work/connect (directly) with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' that can, "Download"; and, "Upload" (ie. "Transfer) between the "Third Party" Application and "Family Tree".

    [ 2 ] Kinpoint Take a Name

From the "Solutions Gallery" of 'FamilySearch' ...

    https://partners.familysearch.org/solutionsgallery/s/gallery-profile/a2Rf10000079qpFEAQ/00189

Take a Name is a family history app for LDS Church members who want to take their own family names to the temple. It requires a FamilySearch account with access to LDS ordinances.

Find temple ready ancestors. Take a Name searches the FamilySearch tree for your deceased ancestors and double checks that LDS ordinances are ready for the temple.

Request LDS ordinances and print temple cards – from your phone!

Take a Name typically delivers dozens of temple ready family names in a matter of minutes.

    -----

And, lastly; but, not least, an 'oldie' (and, they indicate "Retied"; but, it still seems to work ... )

    -----

    [ 3 ] (BYU) Descendancy Explorer

From, BYU's, Family History Technology Lab ...

A powerful tool that facilitates quickly and responsibly searching for ancestors in need of "Temple" Work.

    Good Luck.

    I hope this helps.

The Family Tree App for iOS & Android devices has 2 unique task lists:

Ancestors with Tasks & Descendants with Tasks. Both can be configured to show Hints, Temple opportunities, or both. I prefer Descendants with Tasks because I can view or focus on any person & generate the task list for 3 to 5 generations.
