Why is work being done for Ordinances shared with Temple in early 2021 and not those of 2018/2019?

Example Ordinance shared in 2018. Helge V Erickson L2DS-2T4 Shared o 9/30/2018 and William Bryce Wood L8BB-QF5 Shared on 11/11/2018.

Many of the ones I shared in late 2020 and early 2021 are being completed in the last month.

Perhaps people related to these individuals are running Ordinances Ready to get names to take to the temple. The software will pull names related to them, not necessarily your oldest names shared to the temple list.

I understand the time it can take but that does not answer the question as to why names shared 3 yrs ago are not being completed before names shared 4 months ago.

Are these names hung up in the system someplace, lost, or just forgotten?

How does one know where they are in the process if at all.

Would I be better off deleting the reserved status and then redoing them?

If you remove them from the shared temple list and re-add them back, they will move from where ever they are in line to the end of the line. The temples are backed up for years. Some endowments are taking 8 years to get through the temples as more and more members are bringing their own family names. The ones that you are seeing completely earlier are probably from members who are related to these individuals and have run the Ordinances Ready process.

Users may reserve specific names other users have shared with the temple. This may lead to certain names being completed before a name you submitted earlier.

I understand all of that. How does one find out if these are still even in the Que. I have read other posts about names being stuck or even lost in the process. If they are fine, if not then I need to get them back in the Que. Is there a way to find out?
