In my Helper Resources planner I have six possible duplicates that cannot be resolved.
I have checked spouses and children and family members but cannot find out why it is flagged as duplicate.
How do I find out where the duplicate is or get them taken off the list because of a software error?
I was redirected last time and it did not resolve the issue. They said I should wait for some time to pass but it has been months.
How can you tell if it is a real duplicate or a software error? On the main page under tasks it gives an option to "ignore" Could there be an option on the planner to ignore if we cannot resolve the duplicate?
Standardizing dates and place names usually makes bad hints go away. Don't bother marking the hints wrong.
Edit to add: I did GH5X-VW8 as an example.0
Hello Lena Horrocks
You are concerned about the list of possible duplicate records list you found in your Helper Resources planner, which you cannot get taken off. How very frustrating for you. We checked the list also, and found no duplicates. We suggest you delete cookies and temporary files from your browser, to see if that removes the list. Use the article below for directions, if needed.
Your question, about an option in the planner to ignore them, if we cannot resolve the duplicate, should be added to the Ideas section of Community, so it get to the engineers for review.
We hope the list gets removed, and wish you success adding our suggestion to the Ideas section of Community.
Thank you for your efforts to help others with their family history.1
@Sanra , for what it is worth, I have nearly 140,000 contributions here, 40,000 so far this year, and never have I ever needed to delete cookies and temporary files from my browser to solve the problem @Lana Horrocks describes.
On a daily basis I see the exact same problem that @Lana Horrocks sees and I fix it simply by standardizing dates and place names.2

Jacob Grist 1703–1760 • GH1X-XYQ - has no duplicates and all ordinances have been reserved and some are shared with the temple which could not have been accomplished if there really still were duplicates.
Josiah Alexander 1752–1818 • GH5X-VW8 - has no duplicates and all ordinances have been reserved and some are shared with the temple which could not have been accomplished if there really still were duplicates.
Likewise with the other four in your example. All dates and places are properly standardized.
I don't see any problem in Family Tree at all. So this appears to be a problem with the Helper Planner not properly refreshing. Looking at myself in the planner, I also see two individual sthat the planner says might have duplicates, but they do not. So this must be a general problem with the planner. @Sanra, can you please make sure this problem gets forwarded to the engineers to take a look at? Thanks!1
Thank you for taking a look at this issue for these people. I encourage many people to go to their Helper Planner to complete tasks. This has been concerning for some time as I do not want others to be discouraged or frustrated trying to resolve FamilySearch duplicates. I appreciate you asking @Sanra to forward the issue to the engineers. I cleared the cookies and that did not resolve the duplicate issue either. Thanks again for your support in checking out each individual. Apparently, I am not he only one to have duplicate issues. Much appreciated, Lana0

Yes, now they are.
These PIDs clearly are not duplicates. FT is serving up bad hints. Usually, polishing the dates and place names is enough to resolve the bad hints. If not, then I carefully examine the attached sources, and also the Residences, looking for spurious information and removing it.
Once that work is finished, it can take a day or so for the FT hints database to catch up.
@Lana Horrocks , are you seeing the same bad hints now?0
