I did ordinances for my decease dad MIGUEL FRANCISCO CONTRERAS BUENO but they have disappeared from Family Search and now they show a yellow Icon that they are unavailable, I did his baptism and confirmation in June 2018 in Cedar City Temple and the Initiatories I believe in November of 2018 at the New Port Beach Temple, it was pending his endowments and I was planning to do that today.

But I found out that all the information is lost and I cannot print out the name card. Any assistance will be appreciated

Without the 7 digit PID for your father we are unable to check into this. Is it possible that similar records were merged or that additional information was added to his record such as his name was changed or birth date changed.

These would cause the computer to show him as a different individual than the one the work was done for originally.

If none of these apply we can send your query to another department with the ordinance dates you have listed and they will look into it.

If his PID is LFWQ-N8K it shows Not Available which is a different issue and will need to be sent to another department.

"Not Available" might appear for many reasons. The most common are the following:

    • Privacy reasons prevent display of the ordinances.
    • The individual is still living or death information is not recorded properly.
    • The person lived before A.D. 1500, and the ordinances are probably complete.
    • Additional approvals are required before you can perform ordinances for the person (such as for a famous person or Jewish Holocaust victim).
    • The person does not show a spouse or parents for sealing ordinances.

    Other reasons include the following:

    • A couple does not have a relationship defined in Family Tree or is in a **** relationship.
    • The record is about a Church member who died, and the death has not been recorded on his or her Church membership record.
    • One of the parties in a sealing is still living.

see the following article in the Help Center

I chatted with Shirly earlier and the PID was LFWQ-N9K. 9 not 8. When I look at that record I do see the Not available even though the patron did his baptism and confirmation in June 2018 in the Cedar City Temple and initiatory probably in Nov 2018 in the New Port Beach Temple. I will private message to the patron and get further information and then transfer this to our internal team
