We understand that your ancestor Joseph Hinton Siler LN57-Y8N is missing his ordinances.
This problem is usually caused by the person's ward clerk not entering his death information onto his membership record. This act will make that record public and will contain his ordinance information.
For further instructions Please click the Help icon (the small circle with the question mark inside of it in the upper right corner) and enter the search term "Missing ordinances or membership in Family Tree. "
Basically you should go to your ward clerk with proof of death and have him enter the death information onto Joseph's record and then the information will become public. If you have further questions please reply to this message and we will be glad to assist further.

The record you are seeing in Family Tree is most likely not his official church record. There is an article in the Help Center about missing ordinances that will give you the information you need to have this matter corrected.
You may need to merge your record with the church record when it appears in Family Search.

I just merged 2 ID's in Family Tree,, the program is displaying the MOST RECENT temple ordinances, done in 2019 instead of the earlier temple ordinances from 1962. I merged the newer ID into the older ID that had the 1962 ordinances. Why is this happening. Please correct it. I already tried renewing my page, twice. still the newer temple ordinances appear. Family Tree is a pretty good program, but can be VERY FRUSTRATING at times. Especially when you do "improvements".
ID is Mark Sherlock MFQX-2M4, baptism 8 Nov 1962 at Logan, End 21 Dec 1962 at Logan.
thanks
