Searching for Thomas Crowther (1843-1843) in FS
On 18 Jan 1894 in the Salt Lake Temple, Thomas Crowther, b. abt. 1843, Sowerby, Yorks., England, d. abt. 1843,
was sealed to his mother, Mary Crossley (Crowther) Hansen and Nathan Hansen. From FHL film no. 184,652, p. 86. (This was a priesthood adoption sealing.)
Would someone help me find this child Thomas in FamilySearch? The record of Thomas Haigh Crowther LH2T-QM7, does not seem to match the original temple sealing record. I think there is a problem.
Please escalate.

We understand that Thomas Crowther is missing in Family Tree. We believe we have found the record, but the name was changed to Thomas Fitton. LHCX-7M8 He is showing under Mary Crossley and Abraham Fitton. The sealing date matches - 18 Jan 1894 Salt Lake Temple . However, the parents are not showing in Family Tree. There is a blue banner states the sealing is valid, but the parents don't match.
Looking at the IGI, we see that the father was Nathan Hanson. Thomas's ID was M4NT-731. That ID was combined and the new ID number is the one currently in Family Tree.
The sealing is considered valid, even though the parents do not show. The link below to an article in our Help Center explains more about this situation.
