This person has been merged with another person. This reservation is no longer active.
When I receive this message, I go in and look at these individuals, but I shouldn't be unreserving them. (I unreserve the ones I need to).
The situation: There were duplicates, for whatever reason. I was working one record and someone the other record. We both reserved the B C I E and SS/SP. However, the other person reserved the ordinances first. When the records were combined the initial record overwrote my requested ordinances. However, not ALL of the ordinances were overwritten and I still have the SS or SP reserved. No one else has it reserved.
I don't want to unreserve the SS/SP ordinances because I can still do the work. The problem is that my temple queue still shows an error. The same error listed in the question bar above. So in my temple queue I have several people that show errors, but they are really not errors.
Here is an example. Betty Margaret Johnson - LTBL-CK4.
Can the system be changed to not give me this error when I STILL, have the reserved the SS/SP and can do them. Thanks!

Hello @atrukid.
Could this be one reason why you see an error warning regarding Betty Margaret Johnson LTBL-CK4?
SP Sealing to Parents
Cannot Request - Needs More Information
- This person's name contains only initials.
Deceased • GQ13-LGQ
Female E
Deceased • GQ13-RJF
(Preferred Parents)
The mother's name needs to be spelled out - as the name shows only as an initial.
Also, Betty Margaret Johnson has two sets of parents -- you should do a little investigating to see if these are duplicate fathers and mothers, or if there was a bad merge.
We would need to go to private chat to obtain the information needed to review your temple list. Let us know how you want to proceed.

Thank you for your help. In normal circumstances I would say that is correct. However, I don't have the SP reserved, but the SS. Thanks, Cindy

Hi @atrukid.
I have looked at the ordinance page for Betty Margaret Johnson LTBL-CK4 and you may have requested the SS ordinance, however, you chose to share it with the Temple System. If you wish to have control of the ordinance again, you may want to Unshare it with the temple so that you are in control again. If you don't do that, others may come along and take the ordinance since names shared with the temple can be taken by other extended family members who may want to complete the work. Please review the following knowledge article about how to Unshare a name without having to Unreserve it if that is what you want to do with the SS that shows you as the contributor. If you have additional questions, you are welcome to send me a private message by clicking on the blue link for my name, and then click Message on my Activity page. https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-unshare-family-names-with-the-temple
I hope this additional information is helpful.

Thank you for your help. My concern is not that I have shared it will the temple, but that it shows as an error in my temple queue. I don't want to unshare it because I am unable to do it on my own, but encourage others to assist, if desired.
This person was combined as a duplicate, I went in and released the ordinances I had reserved, but since I am the only person that has the SS the system still shows the person's record as an error, in my temple queue. I would like that error to go away because it doesn't need to be there since I am the only individual holding the SS.
I think this is a system problem and programming needs to happen in order to fix this scenario.
Thanks, Cindy

Thanks for your comments, @atrukid, however, until you Unshare the SS ordinance, we will not know if the system is acting as designed or not. Unshare is not the same thing as Unreserve. As long as the ordinance is shared with the temple system it may remain on your Temple List. We can investigate further if you provide your username [found on your Account Settings page] and your helper number [found on your Permission Settings page]. We will also need your relationship to Betty to forward you concern to the specialty team who can determine whether the system is acting as designed or not. You can provide this additional information by using the reply box below.

Thank you for your additional response. I previously unreserved her on May 31, 2021. I unreserved her again, today July 22, 2021. However, I still have an error in my temple queue "This person has been merged with another person. This reservation is no longer active."
Then, I went to Betty's record as well as the Temple Reservations sections of family search. There is not an option for me to "unshare" with the temple in either of these places.
Thanks, Cindy

Hi Cindy, I have looked at the ordinances for Betty, and the SS is available to be requested for both spouses. These ordinances are definitely not currently on your temple list. You do not have to request these ordinances as someone else might want to actually reserve and complete them rather than just sharing them with the temple. Please check and see if you still get an error in regard to the SS ordinances since we are not able to replicate any type of error message either from your temple list or from within Family Tree when signed in as your helper.
We see that you show as the person holding the personal ordinances for Betty when signed in as your helper, but others will not see your reservation. This is because when the merge was done, the person who had the oldest reservation is the person who has permission to complete the work for Betty. If you have a printed card for Betty, please destroy it since another person shows as the person who can complete the ordinances. https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/i-reserved-family-names-familysearch-shows-they-are-now-reserved-by-someone-else
We wonder if having thousands of names on your temple list might be one of the reasons you have received error messages previously. Generally we are asked not to have more names on our temple list than we can be responsible for in a timely manner, and even if we share ordinances with the temple, we have found that these large temple lists can have problems develop. Since we have verified that you do not show any ordinances for Betty in your temple list, we believe your issue has been resolved, however, you are welcome to provide us with a screen shot as a reply to this message if you are still seeing error messages regarding Betty or her spouses.
