I am searching for the marriage certificate of Johannes Petrus van Staden and Wilhelmina Sophia Strauss, dated 14 Oct 1944.

@marablattes, I tried searches I would have suggested that use the Research Wiki, the Catalog, Records, and Images and they were not successful in locating a marriage certificate of the couple.

One Record search brought up the husband's name in South Africa, Netherdutch Reformed Church Registers (Pretoria Archive), 1838-1991. You might need to search church records rather than civil registrations.

I am also attaching a screenshot of a Record search using the names of the couple with the residence place of "Waterberg, Transvaal, South Africa" and would suggest you use that location as the place name in your searches.
