What is a "Saved Family Name Card" on an Android Phone in the FamilySearch app?

I was browsing around on my Android phone with the FamilySearch app. I was in the Temple section. I tapped three dots in the upper right corner while looking at My Reservations. This produced a little box that said "Saved Family Name Cards" and "My Temple". I tapped "Saved Family Name Cards" and got the message, "You have no saved family name cards on this device."

How can I save Family Name Cards and how is this function used? I am wondering if this is something to help us out when we print a Family Name Card, take it to the Temple, and leave the card with the temple after performing the ordinances. Can we save a card so that we have a record of what temple cards we have taken to the temple, or of the cards we may have shared with family members?

when you create a family name card in the Family Tree App, a copy of the card is temporarily saved & can be accessed for reprinting.

In my experience, if you sign out of the app, the cards are no longer “saved” so I prefer to save, or “share” for iOS devices to my device.

Because cards are PDFs, you may print or save as many copies as you choose, and markup a copy to keep for your own use in any way you choose. I prefer to save electronic copies.

These are my options on an iOS device
