Morris/Nunn/Harris/Crane
I am interested in communicating with anyone having info about the Morris, Nunn, Harris or Crane ancestors below.
Andrew J Morris, my GG Grandfather. was born in Chester or Fairfield, SC. abt 1800. There he married Elizabeth Nunn, and sometime before 1840 they moved to Dekalb Co., GA. While married, they had several children including these two: 1) Their son, Lofton Nunn Morris, is my G-Grandfather. He was born 1826 in SC and married Elizabeth Smith in Chambers Co., AL abt 1841. 2) Sources indicate they had a daughter, Frances, who was born in SC about 1833 and who married Thomas Harris in 1847 in Chambers Co., AL. She died abt 1914 in Fulton Co., GA.
Sources indicate that in 1856 Andrew Morris married his 2nd wife, Amanda Elizabeth Crane, in Troup Co., GA. They lived in Randolph Co., AL from about 1860 to 1880.
I would like to connect with descendants of Andrew J Morris, his wives, children, etc. My hope is to learn about any information that was recorded in Bibles, letters or even shared orally in family stories. I would appreciate hearing from anyone. In turn, I have done much research and will be happy to share.

Hello @Mary Ellen Morris
I looked at Lofton Nunn Morris GSWD-DQ9, on FamilySearch.org
There are 15 sources listed for him. Five people have attached sources. You can go to the sources page and click on one of the contributors and message them.
If they answer, you can ask them how they fit into the Lofton Nunn Morris family. Maybe get some hints about your family.
If you have an ancestry.com account, you can search the Family Trees on ancestry.com and perhaps find someone else researching your ling.
You can Google your ancestor's name and information. Occasionally that will bring up some information.
Good luck,
Anitra

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it! I have all the information about Lofton Nunn Morris; I trying to identify his paternal grandparents, i. e. the parents of Andrew J Morris born in SC in 1800. I have learned Lofton Nunn Morris had a sister, Frances (Morris) Harris who died 1914 in Fulton County, GA. I have been reaching out the the couple of people that have Frances in their tree. Unfortunately, I have not heard from the one who seems to have the most solid connection. The data is on Geni so the audience is limited there it seems.
