Hello,

Yesterday I had requested permission, through the family tree app, to do the work of my biological mother that had placed me for adoption. I wanted to make sure the request was submitted, it didn't give me any notice that the request was waiting for approval or anything. I have a temple date of July 30th I was hoping to be baptized for her, and wanted to make sure it had been sent correctly.

Dear Kate, It appears that your request to do the ordinance work for your mother, Shaina Bigby, ID# GZTJ-XQP did not process. We will move your question to another area of support for processing. Your question will show closed but be assured that we are working it. The other department will contact you if necessary for additional information.

We believe that you do not need permission to do the work for your biological mother. You would need to take a Family Group sheet when you go to the temple.
