The ordinance section does not show my sister Janis Gay Fowles(Cherry) LN27 BF1 baptized. She was Baptized in June or July 1942 in Vallejo or Oakland, California. The Ward in Vallejo was being built at that time and I am not sure if she was baptized in the new building or in Oakland which was the stake for Vallejo at that time. I attended the Baptism . I was baptized at the Oakland stake in 1939 and I believe she was baptized at the same location. just not sure when the ward building in Vallejo was completed, it was opened sometime during WWII, because we went there after dedication until after the war ended. I have reserved the ordinances to do the rest of her work and need to have the baptism shown on the records.

We are sorry for the death of your Sister. We were not able to see your Sister's record. The ID number given did not find her (if listed as living, we cannot see it). Has her death been noted on her FamilySearch page? If she was a member, the Ward Clerk must enter the death date and then ordinances previously performed would show.

In addition to the information that you have received, and if you still have questions about this situation, you may find the information at the link here to be of some help. If your sister was a member and not active at the time of her death, her death information will need to be confirmed by information that you can submit through the Community page by clicking on the Temple category in communities after noting the information in the article here: https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/missing-ordinance-and-membership-information-in-family-tree

However, due to the very recent change in FamilySearch support processing, the article says to use the Send A Message feature to FamilySearch Support. Now, due to the change, the information described in the article will need to be posted in the Community/Temple section but do not include your username, helper number, or other private information as it will first appear in a public location.

You can reply to this message if you still have questions or ongoing issues.
