I want to seal a 7 month old child to her parents
Ethel Tamaki Oba, ID # LV3P-6RJ, died at the age of 7 months old. Her parents and siblings have all passed away. I contactacted the person who entered her family
information and he has confirmed that all is deceased but has given permeission for me to have her sealed to her parents. He too is not a close living relative. Her DOB is 6 Feb 1916, DOD 2 Sep 1916. If you check her family information, all have had their temple work done with the exception of four sistrers being sealed to their parents. I have printed the cards for 3 sisters and would love to take Ethel's name in and have all 4 siblings sealed at the same time. Waiting to hear from you,

Hi Understand you want to do the sealing to parents for Ethel Tamaki Oba. It sounds like you are a relative of this person but not a close relative. Remember only a close living relative can give permission so the person who entered the information can not give permission. What you need to do is follow the instructions in the attached article. Carefully follow the instructions of what must be on Family Search. Pay attention to the situation where no close living relative exists. On step 4, you have to click "I have permission" to proceed even though there is no one to give permission. Then follow the rest of the steps. When you complete the process, your request will be submitted for review and you will be notified of the outcome. Your notification will probably come as a message rather than email.
Here is the link to the detailed instructions. If you have trouble with the link, then on Family Search or Family Search community, click on the circle with the question mark at the upper right, click on help center at the lower left, in the search bar enter "How do I request ordinances for an ancestor who was born in the last 110 years?" Let us know of any other questions.
