Sealing is not available because date of marriage was originally put in as 0081. This has been corrected but it will not reset and allow the sealing to be available.

L5KC-3NR is the spouse Lillian M. Wilson She is my distant cousin.

Hi, Welcome to Family Search community. When we look at this problem we see that there is still a problem with the marriage date. All dates need to be standardized and there are cases where the displayed date can be different than the standardized date. Such is the case here. Go to the person page for Lillian (L5KC-3NR), on the details tab, go down to the family members section. Click on the couple relationship edit icon for Harry and Lillian. This is the icon (box with pencil) to the right of where is shows their marriage date. Look at the Relationship Events and it will show 3 different events. Click to edit the first event. You will note that the displayed date is 16 September 1896 but the standardized date is 16 September 0096. You need to update the standardize to the correct date. Just click on the standardize date and choose the correct one from the drop down. This should solve the problem. Also, you may choose to delete 2 of the events since they are redundant. Just click edit by one of the events and select delete at the lower right

Here is a link to more details about standardized dates.

Go to Relationship Event. Click on edit by the first marriage date listed of 16 September 1896. On the edit page you will see that the marriage date is not standardized correctly. Correct it or delete the whole marriage event. There is a duplicate marriage listed already, 16 Sep 1896, which has the correct standardized date. The sealing to spouse ordinance should show as available to request. Hope this helps.
