Family Tree Pickle - I don't know how to fix.

If you click on Ernst Muller, GZ5Q-YZR, you will see one of his daughters Elisabeth, GZ5Q-M2Y. Unfortunately both father and daughter are listed twice, with same IDs, once with mom and sisters and once without mom or sisters. See attached photo. I want to remove the relationship with no mom or sisters (again, see attached). I am afraid to edit the relationship that contains no mom and remove it because I am terrified it will remove Elisabeth in both places. I tried to add mom, but got an error message the relationship already exists. How do I fix this? I am hoping it is quick and easy. (I don't even want to know how I created it...)

Hello Gail, Don't worry It's easily fixed. You don't delete anything, simply remove the relationship you don't want. If you go to Ernst's page and scroll to the bottom, where it has him listed alone, click on children to view Elizabeth from there. Next, click on the edit (pencil) function to the right of her name. This allows you to remove the relationship. It won't change the family listed with both parents. This article has more detailed information you may find helpful:

    Hope this helps 😀

    Hi.

This is a situation where a duplicate relationship has been created between Elisabeth and her father (the bottom section you have crossed out) - you will need to just delete this duplicate relationship.

To do this, click on the Icon to the right of Elisabeth in the place where you want to change the relationship. ie in the bottom section to her father on his own.

This article from the Help Centre shows the full process:

Yup, it worked like a charm! Thank you! Even as I did it I got scared she would vanish from both places. :)
