How can I receive permission to perform ordinances for a close friend.

I want to do the temple ordinances for a close friend. He was the only child of a single mother, She had no other children and never remarried. My friend was born in 1944 and died in 1996.

He never married and I am absolutely certain he had no living relatives when he died. There is nobody to ask permission. I have requested this twice before and have been refused permission. This is very important to me as I feel very strongly that he wants his work done. Thanks Michael Davis

We will assume that you have entered your friends information and that of his mother into the Family Tree, if not please do so by using the Add Unconnected Person link at the bottom of the Recents list. You've not given us the ID number for your friend so we can check. Its important that you add his parents. Once that this information is there then make a further request completing all of the information adding in all your information about no living relatives etc give as much information as you can. If you are refused then you can write back via the reply in your email and request they look at this again .
