I am assisting a sister in her family history work. The deceased individual in question is under ID# 9D1Z-97H. According to her jiapu, his name should be 陳元寧 instead of 陳之寧 currently shown on the family tree. Your guidance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Patrick

Yes, changes to the name can be made after ordinances are completed. For a more detailed explanation, on Family Search, click on the circle with the ? mark, select help center at the lower left and enter "Ordinance validity when performed with minor errors? in the search window.
