simplify search areas
You should notice that after you have typed in the name and hit search allot of options appear. also allot of those options are duplicates. In one case im my search for one name over forty eight pages of possibilities appeared on the first page alone there were five duplicates of the same family fathers name was the same so was the mother and Childs name along with all the dates. and when you hit the view button the same information page showed up. only difference was the code. I have seen this over and over again some of the names I have I have seen as many as eight different windows for the same person, I have also seen as many as three family groups on the same page doing the same thing. My thoughts are the church is in need of a program that will go through family search and combine all the eastly found duplicates in their system. something like the very first extraction program the church had forty years ago. first it would open space on the program and then it would reduce the amount of time needed to search out a person. Some time ago I noticed that a name could be duplicated by the program by punching in the name once then getting off of it and than going back to it again with in the same window. i reported it then but I see probably it is still going on and that is why I see the one family of mine with eight different Georges in it for the same birthdate and place.
