I come across individuals where it is indicated that the husband or wife has been sealed to spouse but then it indicates that his or her spouse has not received the the sealing to spouse ordinance.
What happens in such a situation?
Thank you for contacting FamilySearch. You mention that a husband or wife has been sealed to spouse, but that the spouse has not received the sealing spouse ordinance. It is possible that the spouse who has not received the sealing to spouse ordinance has been married to another person and is not sealed to that person. It would be helpful if you would give us an example with names and ID numbers.
We wish you the best.
Would you like to post the ID of the husband or wife with this issue so we can have a look?
I expect that the sealing was done but then the relationship between the husband and wife has been deleted. Then another relationship has been added - perhaps to someone with the same name - but with a different record ID.
FamilySearch support can have a look at the Sealing and let you know who the Sealing was for, and if possible correct the sealing.
If you post here a FamilySearch Support Missionary will contact you via a Private Post.
All the best.
