Cannot merge two people
My uncle passed away over a year ago. I want to do his initiatory, endowment and seal him to his wife now (no other living family except myself and 3 other nephews). However, I have him showing up twice under my grandfather's name with mostly same information but one has his children listed but no ordinances listed for himself (Children's information is incomplete but the information that is there is correct). The other has the same information except no children listed but shows his birth and confirmation dates (which we believe to be correct). I have tried to merge them but get a message that there is a relationship with a Read-Only Person. We have appointments at the temple to do this work on July 27 and we leave for Europe on a mission on July 29 and hoped to get these ordinance done before we leave. Can anyone help us?

The problem exits because your uncles mother, Eva Ann Lund 1893–1959 • KWJH-RKQ is the daughter of a General Authority. Special permission is required for the 2 instances of your uncle to be merged.
The ordinances showing or the ID KWZ1-3XG is his membership record. The ordinances showing there are correct.
You could add his children to this relationship that show under the ID LYP6-8M2
This problem will be forward to a team that can review the issue. There is no guarantee the problem will be resolved before your Temple day nor before you leave on your mission.
