How can you print off a card for a reserved person, when the person who has reserved it is deceased?

    Hi dduncan.

There is not an option to print cards that have been reserved by a person that has died after reserving the ordinances. When a member of the church passes away the ward clerk will process his/her membership record and the account is closed. Once it is closed you cannot print the ordinance cards until the expiration date occurrs. Once the expiration date passes, the ordinances are available for anyone eligible. If the cards are already printed and you have possession of them, then you can go ahead and do the ordinances. Otherwise the cards cannot be printed.

You might also try posting a request in the Temple Q&A directed to Support with the ID numbers of the Family Tree individuals involved, why you are certain the person that reserved them is deceased (They might require something like a link to an online obituary), and a request to release the ordinances either to the temple so you can pull off a 90 day reservation and get them done or directly to you as 2 year reservations.

I don't know if this will work, but it never hurts to ask.

The process now is to post a message here with the IDs and you will be contacted privately.
