I would like to do Temple ordinances for my father who died 11 October 2019. George Herbert Bromley Sr. LJ3X-8ZK. 2 Jan 1931.

I was told he was baptized in 1978 with my mom but it does not show in Family Search.

    Hi Bruce.

I am Sr Griscavage and hopefully we can give you some thoughts on how to proceed.

There is some great information using the help center link for missing ordinances.

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/missing-ordinance-and-membership-information-in-family-tree

There are several things that you can do. If you think your father was baptized in 1978 you can go to the Catalog and then click Keywords and then write " Family Group Records Collection archive Section". His Temple record (you will need documentation to get this corrected in Family Search) may be there and then if it is you can contact family search. The link will give you several references on how to possibly find if your dad was baptized in 1978,

If you know where he died you can check with the current ward clerk (or your own) to see if his membership record was processed. the article in the link will also give you more thoughts on how to proceed.

Hopefully this helps you. Sincerely Family Search.

Do you know if your father's ward clerk sent in his temple work to Familysearch.org?
