Geography Question - Taber, Alberta
I'm going back and reviewing my Canadian relatives in Family Tree and have realized that I don't know enough.
For several of my relatives that lived and died in Taber, Alberta, first arriving there in 1902, a few people have changed events to be occurring in Taber, Taber Municipal District, Alberta, Canada. Looking at Wikipedia, it states that Taber Municipal District was not created until January 1, 1954, several decades after the events in my family.
What is the correct way to enter Taber to fit the proper historical time period of 1902 to 1953? Would it be just Taber, Alberta, Canada or should it be Taber, something more, Alberta, Canada?
The FamilySearch Places database gives a start date of 1900 for Taber Municipal District. Is that wrong and should I send in a request to correct it? Or is Wikipedia wrong in listing an establishment date of January 1, 1954?
Thanks for any guidance!

I would suggest you contact the Chief Administrative Officer for Taber and ask your questions there. Here is a link to their contact page: https://www.taber.ca/how-do-i/contact/town-staff
