Can we pls have a "Notes" section attached to each individual to keep track of what else is needed?
In going through my grandfather's 11 siblings, it would be great to have a "Notes" section for each person where I can keep track of the next steps needed for that person (Find a marriage event for Bessie, Check with relatives to see if the couple had children, Find parents of the spouse, etc). It could be a public note, so that others working on the tree who might have that information can fill it in. Thanks!

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
There is ALREADY a place (or, what your refer to as a 'Section') for "Notes" ...
FYI
The place for "Notes", for an individual/person, can be found, under the "Collaborate" 'Tab', of an individual/person.
Pictorially ...
Location of "Collaborate" 'Tab', in the "Person/Details" page/screen
Location of "Notes" ('Section'), in the "Collaborate" 'Tab'
And ...
Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch'
How do I add notes to a person in Family Tree?
https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-add-notes-to-a-person-in-family-tree
I hope this helps.

ps:
As an aside ...
Of course, there is ALSO a "Notes" ('Section') for, both,
▬ "Parent-Child" Relationships; and,
▬ "Couples" (ie. "Couple" Relationships)
.
