Directory place in business directory
If a directory place is not listed specifically or the year either, no assumptions on directory place by looking at a city or state in an ad?

Correct per the instructions: Do not use places listed in an advertisement as the directory place.
So both the year and directory place are rendered blank if they are not on the image.
