Read Only Record in incorrect KWVP-CNK, son of an apostle has the wrong name.
Charles Coulson Rich (KWJZ-H23) and Sarah Jane Peck (KWJZ-6L3) had twins. Orson (KWVP-CNK) has the middle name of Stock. This is not his middle name.
His brother, Hyrum Smith Rich (KWZW-RRH) married Elizabeth Stock (KWZW-RRC). They had a son they named Orson Stock Rich (KWZW-26Y), my grandfather. His middle name is Stock because his mother's maiden name was Stock. There were no Stocks around when the twin Orson was born. They came from South Africa.
I have spent many years trying to tell people that the twin's middle name was not Stock. In a family history that tells of the twins births, it does not record their middle names. In another history, written by Nedra Reese Watkins, a copy of which is in the Family History Library (Charles Coulson Rich: the man and his family) on page 116, it shows the middle name as either Thomas or Stock.
Thomas was his father's cousin and his mother's brother-in-law. I am not sure if his middle name was Thomas, but I know for sure that it was not Stock.
How can this be corrected. It is not his name.
