What is the process to correct/ edit incorrect ordinance information, like a date?

When you are on the person page under Ordinances, and you find a mistake, what is the process to report it, or edit it, or request additional information?

Welcome to the FamilySearch community. Thank you for the time you spend asking questions
Regarding: What is the process to correct/ edit incorrect ordinance information, like a date?
This is a process we can assist you with.
Please send us the following information.
- Your user name for FamilySearch.
- Your Helper access number ( password)
- Name of the family member that needs ordinance date correction. First and last names
- The Identification number of the family member that needs correction. The identification number is located below the name of the family member.
- If you have the correct dates please include that with your reply.
- If there are more than one family member please give us the identification numbers of the person whose dates need correction.

Sorry, there seemed to be a lot of confusion.
We have been lead stray!
When someone request a correction in ordinances, the post needs to be moved to (EN) escalation, then some one will pick it up and private message the member who posted the request for the ordinance, and privately ask for his/her UN, HN and PID, and other relevant dates. Upon meeting these requirements, the mod can act on this request.
This is the process as posted by admin in the (EN)escalation page. Hope this clear now.

Elder Lim, I don't understand the post that you sent me to. I am sorry! How do I request changes to incorrect data about ordinances? Is there a place to ask a question or submit a case?

lstolk36,
Thank you. I am not sure I should provide my username and helper number in a community forum. What about the PID of the person along with the information? Would that work?

Hm ...
Were you just ... 'testing the waters', so to speak ... from the perspective of a 'lowly' Member User/Patron ...
With regard to the RECENT "Change" to "Contact Us" ...
Needless to say it is a ... NIGHTMARE ...

ps: You know me; and, I know you ...

Brett, thank you for your response.
What should I do when ordinances are missing in Family Tree?
The above Knowledge Article states to contact FamilySearch Support. Use the Send a Message is not available in the Community. How do we get help now?
Asking for assistance
If you cannot find the missing ordinances, reserve the family names to prevent someone else from duplicating the ordinances. Then contact FamilySearch Support . Use the Send a Message option for the fastest response:
· Category: Temple
· Subject: Missing ordinances
· Message:
o Your relationship to the individual needing attention
o The case number, if one exists
o Information to help us find the person (name, birth date, and PID number)
o How you know the ordinances have been complete

Hey Brett! Yes, testing, but also asking because I did not know how to get help of this nature on the Community. One of the missionaries I work with asked, so I dug in. It worked, and we eventually go to the right place. Wahoo!

Thank you! I found the correct group. I wonder if there is a way that we can make that more clear to users? I was able to search for the group based on your response, but that was not a natural path I was new to the process. Thank you again!
