Creating Marriage Entry from child's Birth Certificate

Hi there. I came across a batch of 5 birth certificates of 5 children with the same parents. On each birth certificate it shows the parents marriage date and place. It's the same marriage info on each birth certificate. I was encouraged to create a marriage entry for the parents. My question is, do I create a marriage entry for the parents on each image or just once? Project Instructions doesn't say anything about this.

If you are indexing Birth Certificates, you would not create a marriage record unless the project instructions say something about indexing EACH type of event found on a document. (It is a rare instruction, in my opinion). Usually you would only create an entry for the primary person (the child) and enter the parents names on that form.

It is always best to share the batch to get a great answer. You can do that by clicking on the third icon from the right and follow the instruction, or share the batch title and batch code that you see at the top of your screen, or copy and paste the URL address.

Thanks for the tip. It does make sense.
