I have entered the parents of an ancestor on his personal record, but they don’t appear in the tree. Any idea why? Thank you.

When you ask a question it is helpful if you provide the ID of the record you are concerned about. Unless someone can look at the record it is very difficult to give an accurate answer. Most will just be guesses. if you provide the name and ID number it allows anyone to easily go to the record. Of course this will not allow anyone to find records for living people only deceases.
