FamilySearch Blog: The Family History Library Is Opening Soon—Unveiling the 2021 Remodel

Many visitors were sad in 2020 when the Family History Library closed due to global COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. One positive aspect of the extended closure is that library remodeling efforts continued without construction dust and noise disrupting guests. Workers have been busily making improvements to this flagship library located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Thank you for the news, hope it makes it easier to find older & dead relatives or, at least pertinent information about them.
It is very frustrating when you put the right information & there are no results!
Thank you!

As A very ticked off user, I hope they sure improve the Library, and also the Web site, I have had very very bad luck with Family search and many of their products and support. :(( , I hope they also better train there workers. The Library was the most Friendly of the bunch. and this is the nicest way that I can put it.
