When I am finished and go to delete all blank images it flips to the last number of the batch. If I have only had 58 entries, when I ask that all blank images be deleted it flips to 300 which is what was estimated images. I have tried various methods such as going to last entry and then clicking on the next entry which is blank. It still goes to #300.

This has happened with another batch which I just returned but was unable to delete the blank images.

What am I doing wrong?

Are there any fields in those 242 unused entries that might have something filled like a year, a directory place, or something else that you copied the text forward for? The entries must all be empty in order to delete them. If there is something there, remove the text or the blank, and then copy the field forward again.

To delete all bank entries after you have indexed all of the available records on the image, delete any extra or unused entries in the data entry area.

    1. On the indexing toolbar, click the icon for Delete Entries. (the bin)
    2. In the Delete Entries pop-up window, indicate whether to delete only the current entry or all blank entries.
    3. Click Delete.

You may want to clear your cookies. Sometimes, when FamilySearch tools don't work correctly, it is because you have too many cookies on your computer. Try that, and if it doesn't work better for you, post again, and we will try to continue to help you solve the problem so that you can delete the extra entries.

Here is an article that tells you how to delete your cookies.
