FYI
Do not panic ... although, we all do ...
Just a quick thought, in passing ...
CHECK the ZOOM of your "Browser".
Normally, as far as I am aware, the "Default" for the ZOOM of one's "Browser" is set at 100%.
But ...
That said ...
One can make that ZOOM, either, a SMALL %; or, a BIGGER %, as one pleases ...
And, unfortunately, the problem/issue being that that can be DONE (ie. Actioned), by accident (ie, NOT intentionally) with a SHORTCUT of a "Combination" of the WRONG "Key Strokes".
I have done in myself, on a number of occasions, when I 'hit' the wrong 'Key'
[ ie. Fingers, working quicker that the brain ... and, thinking too far in advance ... ]
I hope this helps.

If you have not gotten this fixed based on Brett's suggestions, please post the device and browser you are using so someone can give you step by step directions with illustrations.

In Family Search, in the upper left corner is a feature that allows you to enlarge your reduce the size of the images on that page. You can also use CTRL + or CTRL - on a Window,

Hm ...
I am confused ...
Please advise, WHAT; and; WHERE, this Feature is, in the 'Upper-Left-Corner', in 'FamilySearch', that allows one "... to enlarge your reduce the size of the images on that page"; as, I cannot recall, 'seeing' such, anywhere on the majority of pages/screens in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
IF, what you are referencing has something to do with "Indexing"; THEN, that is another matter entirely; as, this post was posted under the "Topic" of "Family Tree"; NOT, "Indexing".
The ONLY 'Feature' that I am aware of, is NOT a Feature of 'FamilySearch'; whereas, there is such a 'Feature' on/in one's "Browser"; and, that is NOT in the 'Upper-Left-Corner' of a page/screen of a "Browser"; but, in fact, is towards the Top 'right-hand-side' of a page/screen of a "Browser",
eg.
'Google' "Chrome":
'Mozilla' FireFox":
'Microsoft' "Edge":
Plus ...
And, that "Combination" of "Keys" of either, "CTRL / ➕" (ie. to "Enlarge"); and/or, "CTRL / ➖" (ie. to "Reduce"), is a SHOTCUT for adjusting the ZOOM on a "Browser"; and, is EXACTLY the problem/issue that can be DONE (ie. Actioned), by accident (ie, NOT intentionally) with a SHORTCUT of a "Combination" of the WRONG "Key Strokes".
Just curious; and, my thoughts.
