    Hi @sunnybay

The Field Help for Age in this Project contains "Type the age in years. If fractions of years were recorded, round down to the nearest full year."

So YES if the child is less than 12 months enter 0 as the age.

    best regards

But if it just says "infant" without giving a specific number of months old then you blank the Age field (Ctrl+B or Cmd+B). As Melissa Himes has pointed out in a variety of contexts, the term "infant" was used to describe children of a variety of ages - up to many years old - it does not represent a specific age or even age range.

Information now has "Enter current age as a number. If under 1-year-old, enter birth month."

It that a project specific instruction, @DaveKlapmeier?

Sometimes the field helps will provide different instructions.

The current project I am working on for the age says: If less than 1 year was recorded or a child was stillborn, type the age as 0 (zero).

I should have qualified that the "Current Age 'i'(help)" I quoted (that said to enter the birth month for ages less than one) was specific to when I was working on the 1950 census, not other documents. Seems like there needs to be a consistent general rule for everything.
