Is this record a census record?

I am reviewing Deutschland, Preußen, Sachsen—Volkszählungen, 1770–1934 [Teil B]

[MMVB-T8W] and it appears that this is a birth record and not a census record. I hate to say it is a "no extractable data image" because it has birth information.

What do you think?

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, I do believe that this is a birth record also. Because the third column over has the name with the same surname of one of the names in the first column. The first column also usually has two names (mother and father?) Each household number only shows three names, which would indicate a birth record. So in this case it would be NED. The dates are definitely birth dates (which are also on census records). When a record is marked as No Extractable Data, it is reviewed and put into the proper batch to be indexed, so nothing would be lost. But please go ahead and post this in the Indexing Chat for a firm verification as the instructions do state to index only census records and not birth records. Please review the article below. Best of luck.

@LarsonJeffreyParl1 were you able to resolve your question? I am so sorry, but we are unable to see this batch. You may have already sent it back or submitted it. You can also ask questions in the Indexing Chat Group. There may be those who are reviewing this same project. Thank you so much for your efforts. We hope you were able to figure it out!

Sorry, I was too impatient and went ahead and reviewed the batch without thinking about it.

I have a batch that I have reserved that has the same issue, it doesn't appear to be a census record but, rather, a birth record.

    Deutschland, Preußen, Sachsen—Volkszählungen, 1770–1934 [Teil B][MMVB-RKV]

The indexers on these go both ways, some think there is no extractable data and some think there is.

    Thanks for your help.

    Jeff
