Computer assisted tools that identify possible inconsistencies/problems/errors: 1) between an ancestor’s Tree data and attached Sources and 2) between the individual Sources attached to a specific ancestor can provide powerful help in identifying and correcting problems in the Tree and attached Sources. These important tasks can be time consuming, tedious and error prone when done manually. These tools could provide a computer assisted “sanity check” to review one’s own work and/or as a “deep dive” when trying to resolve or identify complex problems.
