Maybe this is being rolled-out gradually. I haven't seen any noticeable changes.

WHAT ON GOD'S GREAT EARTH CAUSED YOU TO THINK THIS NEW USER INTERFACE WAS USER FRIENDLY??? And who convinced you and who approved it?
THIS IS HORRIBLE. Makes one not even want to use FamilySearch.org or contribute or attached records to family members. Yesterday it was fine, Last night it went back to this format that you launched or tested a few months ago. I stopped logging in except for when I had to. I was so grateful when it went back to the previous version, now someone in IT convinced someone higher up to launch this new user interface that STINKS!!!
As a previous user interface developer, when making changes, it is so that the new changes make it easier and more appealing for the user to use, not to add unnecessary steps and additional screens that do not need to be there....
PLEASE GO GACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION - the one I used on April 18, 2021, since the changes were made sometime on April 19, 2021.... WHAT A MESS YOUR IT DEPARTMENT HAS MADE OF YOUR SITE!!!

Yet still I can't find an example of what is being referred to here. Perhaps Don or Diana could provide either a URL or screenshot, so I / we can understand what you are complaining about.

Thought that would be the case. I upload an Image and it looks fine but when I leave the site and come back to it again I have an hour glass on blue where the image was. Sorry, guess I can not upload an image of the new layout for sources.

With the Old layout of sources or interface, I could use the source-linker and then back my way out to the research search page I was working from, and look down the page to see if their was showing more research on my ancestor. I can not back my way out of the source-linker to the research search page with this new layout or interface for sources.
There is also too much information on the page. (Too Busy)! The Tools was right in your face on the old layout or interface. With the new layout and interface one has to scroll down the page to see it all, which takes extra steps and time. New, has a pretty face, but old was more workable.

I think I'll reserve judgment on this until I start encountering having to deal with attaching sources using the new layout.
BTW - I believe there is a "slow roll-out" with this. Just now, I added a URL with my comments to another topic. While I was viewing the page (and copying the URL) it showed the "old style" view, but when I clicked on the URL after I'd pasted it in with my comments the new format appeared! Incidentally, this was for a Mexican Civil Registration source, not a US census one.

Same URL, but different views within 5 minutes!

Thanks, Paul. I don't think I've run into the "new layout" either.
