Date the source entry from source box vs source entry to the tree

When adding a source to the source box there is no place to enter the date. PLEASE add a place to enter the date. When I go to my source box and then add the source to my tree, I have put the date in the title, however, when it is added to the tree it goes to the bottom of the source list, and not in date order because there is no date in the box under the person's sources. I ALWAYS have to add the date when adding a source from the source box.
