I am working on indexing these Boston Tax Records. I understand we aren't suppose to index companies (appearing as "& Co", etc). However, what about when there's simply two last names provided. Do we index these both under the surname or together under the given name?

Hi @AAznive . I think that is a company (and so not indexed). A “Currier” did leather processing. So Burland & Hatch was a leather processing company (maybe a partnership originally) - they were Curriers - look under the Profession column.
