Please include the referenced profile in new messaging system

one of my most favorite features of the messaging system was the direct link to the profile the inquiry/message related to. That is missing in “improved” system. The valuable information has also been stripped from all messages currently in my box. Please bring that back.
Thank you.

I too find the link important. A lot of times, it will take me directly to the change log that shows what they are referencing.
It would also be nice to have an option to be able to pull up all the messages that were sent by the same person. This would help to refresh my memory on what we have already discussed without having to search my whole msg box.

I must agree with you that the reference to my messages I've sent out are now gone and I have no idea how to follow up with my previous messages that are still hanging out there unresolved. Please bring the hyperlink back that the messages were about.

As above, without the direct link to the profile that the message is related to, I'm unable to research the issue. I received a message today and had to reply asking the sender for the PIN as I had no idea which profile was being addressed.

The update to the messaging system is TERRIBLE. Please go back to the way it was. I cannot tell who the message is referring to anymore since the link that used to be there is gone. So when I look at all my old messages, I have a hard time figuring out who we were discussing.

I agree. The about/subject line in messages needed to be brought back. When I checked this morning it was restored. Thank you to the engineers!!!

I believe I have just sent a reply to a message, but don't know how! My message suddenly turned blue (yes, literally!) but there was no SEND to click on.
Like other users, I'm baffled as to how the revised Messages feature is supposed to work.

Update - I have just discovered that hitting "Return" sends the message and "Shift+Return" is required to produce a new paragraph. Is these recognised actions, because I have never encountered anything like this on FamilySearch or elsewhere?
