Boston Mass Tax records

Instructions state that we are not to index company names. I see a lot of names with a symbol that looks like "& Co." or a "large T with a small o" following the name.

So am I thinking these would be a company and not to index, right?

    The ones on that image look like + Co to me too. The person was a little lazy with the ampersand. Sadly, the instructions do say not to index them.

    That is how I understood it as well. So I won't be indexing with those marks on. Thank you so much for verifying.
