Hi!

Attached is a copy of the document I need translated.

On p 1 - I can read: his contract was dated May 29, 1873, name: August Gustavsen, laborer, male age 20, from Lerdal Dalsland [Sweden]

On p 2 - I can't read the agents name, August is going to Sparta, WI, on the steamship Hero, sailing May 30, 1873. I can't read the word in the Fragthelob column.

Any help would be much appreciated! If the attached is not legible, the original document is FHL #0353085 Kristiania Emigrant Protokoll, vol 5 1871-76 p 270-1 , line 6.

Regards,

Patti Thompson

Thank you for your question about Norwegian translation. There are people that can help translate the document in the Nordic Countries Genealogy Research group found here: https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/137-nordic-countries-genealogy-research. You can copy and paste the same post in that group.

Wishing you continued success in your genealogy efforts!
