Working on 2 trees. If I delete one tree will the information on saved tree remain saved?
There is matching information on the trees. Several mistakes on the tree I want to delete.

When I first started my project there were ads , mistakes and brick walls. As if it wasn't already confusing enough, add the "hints" in the mix, deleted and (re)added context from different scources. My poor tree looked like I was trying to create a tree for Frankenstein creation and families.
Finally on the right track and would like to get the get rid of the bad tree without loosing the one that is finally correct .

As Don Martin Thomas correctly pointed out, there is only ONE tree and it is owned by FamilySearch. Nobody has their "own" tree. If you have segments of the ancestral tree that you are working on that seem to be duplicated (either right or wrong) in other parts of the single FamilySearch FamilyTree, I you simply try to delete them or remove them in some fashion, then you are removing research work that other people have done. In order to justify doing any of that, you need to provide the sources, notes, and other genealogical evidence showing that the act of you changing or removing pre-existing data is, in fact, correct.
You can't just blow away data that is already in the FS FamilyTree because it disagrees with what you think it should be. It is just as possible that it is far more correct than your own research because many other people may have worked on and contributed to it.
The one suggestion that I would apply to Don's comments is that when merging, you should typically merge the record with the least amount of data to the one with the most data. That will help to quickly identify records that are in fact, NOT duplicates and prevent incorrect merges.

Don Martin Thomas and JeffWiseman have provided correct information and suggestion for your issue. I do not think of Family Tree as a collection of Trees but as a collection of in individual records connected by correct relationships which include spouse, parents and children - no other relationships directly exist in the Tree. You are only connected say to grandparents thru parents. Thus you do not talk about deleting a Tree. In most cases is something is wrong you want to remove an incorrect relationship not delete a record. Records are only deleted if they do not represent a real person as others have mentioned if they are a real person and there is a duplicate record they need to be merged into one record.
