Users not loaded to Groups in New Community?? Now what actions needed?

So its been 3 weeks now since we went live in the new community. and still many groups have about 1/2 the membership count as before.

I have to assume by now if it isnt there now - its not going to be loaded - and whoever was working on an automated load it has given up?

I realize the past is the past and we need to move forward as positively as we can. . .

So - - - how do we move forward . . .??

I realize we can re-invite - but most of us have no idea who to re-invite?

Can a list of membership be provided to group leaders from the old system?

What is the suggested mode of correcting this - or alleviating this situation.?

I realize there is no good in "beating a dead horse" - as someone told me - but more transparency and more guidance on how best to move forward would be appreciated.

and whether or not we should be waiting on a fix/solution is nice. Keeping us informed (not just the missionary force) woudl be highly appreciated.

This is a major blow to the community - if we cant get these users back in some easy fashion.

Posts to the community are drastically down.

I had no trouble with this - i.e. all my groups were carried across for me into the Vanilla platform, without my need to rejoin any of them.. However, something has gone wrong. The previously well-used England Genealogy Research group has had no posts since 17 March and, as Dennis notes, contributions to other groups are well below the previous levels on the old platform.

I think the poeple dropped were the people who joined the community/group - after the initial PRE version was created.

Family Bible Group has like half the users now as before.

I wasnt dropped from any group - and I think most of us "long timers" are fine.

its the new people - but how to know who??

note that last message was really from me . . . . yet another flaw that needs fixing - issues when multiple users use the same computer.

I was dropped from three groups that I have been a member of for about 3 years. today, April 3, I did rejoin two that were very active Germany and Switzerland. The weekly email updates on posts had stopped mid-March. I do not know if the rejoin has worked as the wheel just keeps on turning when I click on "My Groups."
